if im not mistaken, comptech and DC bolt-ons are easy to find for the CL. however, some aftermarket parts are much more expensive (buying two headers instead of one, two mufflers, etc).

i havent driven a CL-S since 2002, but i remember the steering being light and over-assisted (fits in line with the character of the car). power is surprising, and the ride is smooth. quiet interior also. its achilles heel is its FWD drivetrain though...
