anyway, i blame most windows issues on the operator. i don't think i need to explain why, so i'll just give an example. at home, only recently have i started using an anti-virus. and with the router, you won't find a strain of spyware/ad-ware/or viruses. why? because i don't go around the internet clicking random shit, and installing anything i find. possible security holes in the OS? that's what the firewall on the router is for. sure, it's not foolproof, but i have been clean for years. this pretty much holds true for my past win2k/me/9x installations as well. as for system stability.. again, solid.
