Actually, they did have the same mat as i got in clear. But i just thought the black would look better. Plus this is not a honda shaped mat, it's just a little square one that covers just the area where your feet touch. I think it's about as good as it can be to my eye and will do the job perfectly. As i said, it's just a matter of figuring out how to make it stay in place.
Take a can of Tuff Stuff and lather that shit into the carpet.
Your gonna be there scrubbing for a while but the shit and grime and grease and dirt and if you smoke and spill some buds on the carpet it will pick that up also.
Its pretty useful on the interior roof panel.
Gets alot of dirt out also.
It cost me like 6 bucks at Pep Boys and you get two cans for that price.
It's a new car, so i wasn't actually asking how to clean it, but how to keep the mat on the drivers side clean and keep it from wearing out where my feet touch w/o having to clean it every few days. This mat is the perfect solution for me since it addresses the wear factor, and i hopefully won't have to worry about cleaning much now.
