ok my starter has been going bad for a while now and its about to finally give up.i have aa huge problem though.i cant get a new one.the serial #'s on my tranny are missing.there is no id tag so i dont even know what kind of tranny i have.i have a b16a with a cable tranny and i was wondering were the hell do i get another one from if i dont have a tranny#'s.can i use the code on the starter its self? some one told me to get a 2000 gsr starter and and use my b16 mounting bracket and it should work but he never got back to me about it.little help.ive asked on hondaswap.com and honda tech with no replies.i was thinking that i could get it from a dohc vtec del sol and that would work.
