if i had the option of eliminating one gov't funded program, NASA would be gone in a second...

i believe that paying taxes is really just purchasing a share in public benefit... im not getting my share of space programs. when you arent satisfied with a product or service, what do you do? return the product or stop buying the service. well i want my money back.

i think it is especially stupid to continue spending money to go to the moon.... we spend millions of dollars to go to the moon way too often and we bring back a bunch of stupid rocks.... i can go to my driveway and get some rocks, i dont need to spend millions of dollars to do it, either.
i dont know about you, but i, as with other humans, like to learn and find out about new things.

and no, they would not develop a way to live without oxygen and water. they would develop a way to recycle oxygen and water up there, retard. plus, we already have tons of ideas and technology that can supply us an almost endless amount of oxygen and water.

and thats why we invent. we'll learn how to control gravity, recycle water and oxygen, which will also be a huge benefit on earth too. there can't be any invention or advancements without a challenge, and space is that challenge.

and the gov't cannot tailor their tax program to your wants.

i'd like my great great great great great great grandchildren to have somewhere cool to vacation other than hawaii or whatever.
