I disagree with you. The Nissan Maxima, Altima, Acura CL-S, TL-S, 03' Accord V6 are all very fast yet nobody hates them because of FWD. Every car I just listed can take out a Mustang GT and those are RWD 
None of those cars can beat a mustang Gt unless the driver is retarded, a GT has more HP and torque and all those cars mentioned. A gripe i always here is "Yeah but its still Front wheel drive" Or "Its a nice car but its front wheel drive for people who cant drive".
