I must say, I was very pessimistic going into the experience. From pictures in magazines and knowing the tC's 2 other siblings, I was skeptical. We pulled up and there was a single white tC in stickshift sitting right there. First impression was, that it looks much better than in pictures. Take a walk around the car briefly notice a set of nice 17" gunmetal factory rims, and a sticker of $16k!!! I was enticed. Headlights have a clean and unique appeal to them, and the white color actually did well for the car. Ok, so we head into the dealership. Tell the guy I will be in the market for a new car soon and it was suggested to me to check out a tC. Short of it is we took a test drive looked inside and out at all the features of the car, the reclining rear seats the suprisingly short and direct feel of the shifter, clean fit n' finish of the climate control/center dash, supportive seats, neat sunroof(s) :chuckles:

Then we took it out for a drive. The 2.4L motor that is mated to the 5-speed is pleasant to drive. Its got a fair amount of torque throughout, and a *decent* redline. Overall, it drove, accelerated and deccelerated kindly. I was more and more pleased with package this car offered. I asked the guy about the optional TRD supercharger and he exclaimed that it wasn't available till September probably and went on to only entice me more by saying it would be covered under the 5 year 60k mile powertrain warranty that came with the car itself. At this point, I was "like-woah". Sit back, think about this, you get all this for $20k supercharged and out the door. The salesman tried to convince me the charger bumped horsepower to 210 when i know I'v heard an even 200. Nonetheless, torque would probably be substantially increased and this package would make for one quick daily driver.

So, theres my experience. Whats your guys' thoughts, views opinions on the car. I am going to seriously consider purchasing a supercharged version of the tC, considering I was ready to pay $20k for a fully loaded Mazda 3, I think I get a lot more sports for my money here???
