Loud mufflers are overrated. Although some do sound good (not those nasty resonating fart cans), they annoy most people on the road, and draw attention from the 5-0. I got a magnaflow because I liked the low, deep sound, but within a month of getting it, I got pulled over, harassed, and was eventually given a ticket for it. Because of the stupid laws in Ontario, I can't even argue that the muffler is below the dB limit... because there IS NO SET LIMIT. Instead I'm going to have to try to argue the validity/subjectivity of the law (it states something along the lines of "no excessive noise is permitted from the muffler").
