Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and I am impressed by the amount of information I could find.

Some punk tried to break into my car by sticking a screwdriver in the lock cylinder. Unsucessful was he, but now I have to change it.

I managed to remove the door panel, the white plastic sheet covering the door handle. Now I am stuck. I have no idea how to either remove the door handle by pushing it from the inside to the outside, or at least removing the lock cylinder and leaving the door handle inside.

There's a small metallic ring around the lock that seems to block everything in place, but I can't remove it. Worst of all, the area is extremely tight and it's difficult to diagnose the problem since I have no grip and no room to work.

Has anybody ever done that in the past ? It's an EX, coupe, 2001 7th gen. Any resource/picture/DIY guide about this ?
