Saw it last night. It was pretty good, Shyamalan is good at building up suspense and anxiety. "What's going to happen?" It's not about blood and guts or an incredibly complex plot. His movies play more like campfire stories. Sure they aren't perfect in every way, it's just a story, try to enjoy it. If you like to watch stupid people doing stupid things that aren't funny, by all means, go see a stoner movie. If you like a good story, then maybe see The Village.

I enjoyed the movie, even though I knew the "plot twist". When it was finished, I heard most of the people in the theatre saying it sucked, and was like

Whatever, idiots...just go watch

I don't know what they were expecting when they went in to see it. :dunno: It's obviously not gonna be a horror or action movie.
I think Shyamalan is always good at created a spooky atmosphere in his movies. Also good dialogue, a decent story, and good acting are always a plus.
