Try getting one made for a GSR or ITR. I'm assuming that you have an LS, since they have weaker hatch stays. You can get OEM ones from the dealer for about $50/ea. You can also find aftermarket ones at Autozone or Pep Boys.

the struts are same for all trim .... and think about it, LS sometimes have factory spoilers, too so the struts can handle it.
dave, your car is 10 years old, im sure the problem is just old struts, they start to lose their firmness as they get older. id say just replace them with some new ones, you will be just fine.
