Seriously. I read tons of shit every day making fun of ricers, with their big aluminum wings and and 5" diameter fart cannons, the home-made bondo body kits, the stickers everywhere...
But driving down the road, I actually see cars like this all the time. And the drivers of them must love it like that, otherwise they wouldn't do that to their car.
So I just wanted to see what ricers say to make fun of domestic drivers. I thought it would be funny.
Kind of like how homosexual individuals refer to straight people as "breeders". When they call someone a breeder they are doing it in a negative way, just as a straight person might call someone a fag. The first time a gay person called me a breeder i thought it was hilarious, and still do. Not gonna get offended by it though.
So i was just gonna see if i could get some ricers to make fun of me, just to see what kind of material they're working with. I wasn't specifically calling any of you guys ricers. Most ricers are imports but most imports aren't ricers, right? I didn't think there was a "www.ricerforums.com" so i just went to the first import forum i found.
here's some stuff to work off of. I have a black 1998 pontiac firebird formula, LS1 5.7 liter 346 cubic foot V8, M6 6 speed transmission, SLP LM catback, airlid, ws6 ram air, a set of C5 rims, leather, all options. picked it up for $8300, is pushing ~300 rear wheel horsepower. I've never drag raced it cause i think drag racing is stupid, but i do autocross it and would love to road race it if i found one near atlanta.
hope that wasn't too much to read ... ?
Sounds like you've got a great setup for your F-Body. Enjoy it.
If you're for the response of "ricers" - as in the bodykit, fart cannon & aluminum wing crowd - you have come to wrong board.
It is that simple.
HAN does not pander to the "all show, no go" crowd.
Take a look through our model forums and you'll see that the majority of members here are spending their hard-earned on forced induction, suspension and other performance improvements, not on chopper-gun fibreglass bodykits.
