I know the starter isn't the problem but I went ahead and tapped it. Had the starter replaced 3 months ago. So I don't think there's anything wrong with my car, it's just that my alarm dysfunctioned and disabled the starter so it wouldn't start. The alarm does beep when I press the button. It locks and unlocks the doors. I don't know how to reset it. Any more suggestions?
