thanks for the input.
i had to work on the car today so hears what i did. i took a peice of wood, drilled about a 1" diameter hole in it real quick and jacked from the subframe where the lca bolts up. i drilled the hole because the lca actually is a bit lower than the two parts of the subframe and the hole was the quickest way for that bit of the lca to sit in the wood.

also, i mentioned that i have V shaped jack stands.. and that the V was too deep for the jack point bars to hit the middle before the outside part of the V hit the side skirt.. so i took my zip cut and cut about 1/4 off the top of the Vs.. now i have a perfect jack stand for the jack point bars. and cutting off the tops doesn't affect it structurally cuz its still holding the car in the dead center of the V.
