Yea, your best bet is to crank up the coil-overs a tad, then you won't have to sacrifice that much of a 'drop' and won't have rubbing issues. That is most economical, or like they said above, roll the fenders if that's the rubbing. If there's no major damage to the tire, it shouldn't be so bad, occasional rubbing can't be avoided, given your car is lowered, have big wheels, and have couple of passengers. I used to occasionally rub with a full house on 16's. I have yet to rub with my H&R drop on stock 13" steelies...
