Chesapeake Woman to Serve 12 Months on Rape Conviction

A Chesapeake woman convicted of raping a 12-year-old boy has been sentenced to 10-years in prison - but she'll serve only 12 months.

Robin Kenefic, 31, appeared in Chesapeake Circuit Court Monday.

The judge suspended nine-years of her sentence on the condition that she serve 12 months behind bars.

Kenefic is the first woman in Chesapeake's history to be convicted of rape.
