It looks like your mom's bridge player captain's, nephew's wife's car to me. It's bland. ROTM by current styling standards. Doesn't stand out in traffic like an Integra does. The 03+ Tiburon looks waaaay better, IMO, but you didn't ask... It's heavier than that RS-X, and will walk even a TS-X in a straight line... So how do you expect it to handle? Like a heavy car.
There's lots of room for improvement in either car, really. There a drag racing team that has a few Tiburons in the 8's, but I heard they're doing it with 4g63's, not the motor that came in the car. I like the Tiburon, but mostly for styling reasons than anything else. Since Hyundai stopped using Mitsubishi engines back in '97, I knew they were going to have reliability issues. My sister-in-law has a '01 Hyundai wagon, and the 2.4L in it is a POS.
The RS-X might be mechanically well rounded, but for what it lacks (to me) in originality, and for that kind of money, I'd rather bee seen in a Mazda RX-8.
Edit: I know my opinion smells like anyone else's, though.
I like the Tiburon in all aspects except for the taking it in for maintenance aspect.
