no joints is def a plus...more pieces means more parts that can move and move under less pressure...if u only have one piece either it all moves or it doesn't move...and it takes a lotta work to flex a thick one piece
does the tie bar actually hlp handling...heard ties are for looks and swaybars do all the work...when u took off ur tie bar, did u notice? other than getting rid of alignment probs
i think the rear sways do the most in prventing understeer. my friend (stock 89 lx-i) and i was going to the movies one day and i hit this corner kinda hard, but my tires just kinda sqeel, he hits the corner and his back end breaks loose and drifts the corner, lol. so my lower rear tie bar and strut bars really do help...
