I call BS on that one, The engine would not be alive anymore because of a mechanical over rev. . Which would be next impossible to knock into first gear at 60MPH even with the clutch pushed in. Let alone the car to not crash because of the engine braking that would happen at 60MPH no matter how fast he pulled it back out of first.
