yeah so anyway, just got home. first run 16.046 @ 86 mph...and i never got another good run in.. so my guarantee fell through, and i'm the loser.
i launched really hard the first time, and got horrible wheel hop
. this caused one of my exhaust hinges to break, and i'm pretty sure my right axel bearings are fukced now. my next run up, i started to do a small burnout, and the front right wheel was making a "popping" sound, so i didn't launch hard the rest of the night. to top it off, the car started over heating after the first run, and i couldn't even shut it off while i was waiting to run because my battery decided to crap out on me. i had to push start the car 5 times tonight.
it was a pretty shitty time for me, but everyone else had fun.
svt ran 8 times and a best of 16.08 @ 87mph. the tirburon ran a best of 16.084 @ 86mph. he got there really late and only got 3 runs in, his best was his first...followed by a 16.1, and a 16.3 (i think). he left to get gas and by the time he got back, they shut down for the night.
there were some other decent cars, a 6th gen si running low 15's, 5thgen hatch w/ b16 ran 15.0, a few 10 second bikes, and a bad ass chevelle running low 10's.
there was a new si that couldn't break 16's. he barely beat a 17.7 running lancer.

i think a 15.99 was possible, but my car needs some maintence first and some better wheels. i'll post vids sometime soon if anyone wants to see. im tired, frustrated, and am going to bed. sorry so much rambling...
