yeah so anyway, just got home. first run 16.046 @ 86 mph...and i never got another good run in.. so my guarantee fell through, and i'm the loser.
i launched really hard the first time, and got horrible wheel hop . this caused one of my exhaust hinges to break, and i'm pretty sure my right axel bearings are fukced now. my next run up, i started to do a small burnout, and the front right wheel was making a "popping" sound, so i didn't launch hard the rest of the night. to top it off, the car started over heating after the first run, and i couldn't even shut it off while i was waiting to run because my battery decided to crap out on me. i had to push start the car 5 times tonight. it was a pretty shitty time for me, but everyone else had fun.
