Not only that, but with a dry kit you can place the nozzle farther away from the throttle body, letting the nitrous mix better with the intake charge. With a wet kit, the nozzle must be tapped VERY close to the throttle body, forcing all of the nitrous/fuel to the back of the manifold, and causing uneven amounts of nitrous/fuel in each cylinder...not to mention problems with fuel puddling in the intake manifold/intake tube.
If you have the slightest doubt about running nitrous, don't do it. Be smart about it and tune it correctly...you'll be fine. But if you can't afford to take chances, then nitrous/FI and racing in general isn't for you. You play, you pay.
