As referenced above, I went to Performance Bicycle in San Rafael, tried on the Radial II glasses, and decided to get them.

But as luck would have it, no one knew how to handle a prescription order. The store staff calls the Merchandising office, and tell me to use their web kiosk.

The web kiosk won't log on to the secured server. Grr.

So thanking them for their time, I go back home, log in to their store from home, only to find out from the Customer Service rep that prescription orders have to be faxed in.

So after screwing up the catalog order form (twice) and writing a cover letter to clarify my screw-ups, I finally got the order sent and I'm awaiting confirmation. h:

Total cost with 2nd day air...$130.04. 7-day turnaround on the prescription.

Hopefully, it will all go smoothly from here on.
