It's not duct tape. it's 3m masking tape--for trim and such, so if you get wax on it you're not turning it white.
It releases with no residue as long as you don't leave it on there for a week. I mask all the cars I do.
Also great for long road trips!
My friends tape up the entire front end with those blue painters tape when driving to car shows, helps prevent rock chips :thumubup:
