Hi,
I am new to this board and am very curious to learn about cars. Mainly Civic's, being that I just got my first car. I was givin a 2-Door 98 Civic HX. I have a couple questions to ask though, being that it had a bad tranny. Instead of having only the transmission replaced, we had an engine swap done as well. Nothing special. I am curious to know what car (make, model, year, etc) this *new* engine came out of. I can't quite recall what kinda engine it was, but I want to say d18 SOHC. I was told a 2000 civic and that it would be faster than what the 98 HX comes with. Can anyone elaborate on this for me? I would appreciate it.
