Here in wisconsin, where filipinos are more spread out, we don't really act like those california filipinos, albeit I wish we did. There are so many family fueds around here that it almost makes us look bad. I don't even have that many filipino friends around here, because somebody's cousin doesn't like my cousin, or some ghey ass family rivalry like that. I personally don't hate any filipinos for whatever family they're in, but too many of us do.

Chicago is a different story though. There is an estimated 150,000 filipinos (IIRC) in the Chicago area, and they are much more community-like than us.

BTW, the term "flip" is considered derogatory by many, so be cautious of its use.
