w00t for successful turbo install!!
Finally got my turbo kit on today. Setup is as follows:
Greddy 15g manifold/turbo/downpipe
2g DSM SMIC
1g DSM 450cc injectors
1g DSM BOV
Tuned by Uberdata (Basemap, blows rich black smoke... yummy!)
Stock wastegate still set at 5 psi. Wastegate spring sucks and gets lots of creep, so full boost doesn't come on until 4.5-5k in 2nd. Also, the 15g kit isn't designed for an intercooler, so I lose a psi or 2 in it. The boost guage reads ~3 psi tops. Time for an MBC to fix all these issues. I'd like to pull it up to ~8 psi.
It's unbelievable what 3 psi will do for a Civic in 3rd and 4th! What were once crappy slow gears pull like 1st and 2nd without boost. Can't wait to crank it up next week...
