if you are gonna be rev-happy with it (and i don't blame you), you may want to use a better oil. for instance, mobil 1 synthetic....provides great protection and wont breakdown in that RPM range.

When you change your oil, look for any metallic color or shavings to see if you aren't damaging your block.
