on my 5th gen it took me 15 minutes to replace it i used a 14mm open wrench and some mm socket... along with a 10mm... unscrewed the bracket and it basically just fell out... unscrewed the two tubes on top... put the new on in.. voila... simple

i don't know if newer models are like that? you don't need to take off the braket to replace the filter clamped in by it...

i'm sorry it was actually $15 at trak auto... btw they're getting bought out by advance so everything is on sale
