Under Appearence/Cosmetic? I notice quite a bit of questions and this would put them in one spot and make easy viewing. I think you're going to see detailing grow a little in the next few years. Also, I was informed by an old HAN member (some of the OG here will remember who he is...not really important) that the people here used to not care about detailing.
I understand not everybody cares enough to go out and order products online--but, if the new forum comes I could test products you can find locally (or should be able to). From tire dressing, to leather cleaner, to light polishes (by hand!--something I don't do most of the time unless the polisher can't reach), and what you will like most: waxes (carnauba, synthetic, cleaner waxes). I'm willing to spend a few bucks a month on it.
I notice we have another Autopian here that is willing to help. I also know quite a few of you are interested and some of you already have some pretty good skills and would be able to give good advice. Even just using products you already have the correct way can make you happier. Rick is experienced with the Porter Cable--I know a lot of the SoCal people have used it at the wash/wax meets (i've seen pictures).
Product lookouts too--new products and what's on sale, or discounted--good buys?
Example: one of our ladies of the board had 3M Swirl Mark Remover already. She used it before and thought it did nothing. When I told her to use linear motions when applying, and work it into the paint well (no small circles), she came back online and told me it worked so much better. She didn't even have to go out and buy anything!
I don't want to make you guys break the bank, I just want the many of you that aren't enthusiastes to get good advice and be able to go to a store and go "oh, I know I won't be wasting my money" or look at a product, read the labels, and be able to decide whether or not it is hoopla or if it could be good (and come back online after trying it and tell us to give it a try next time we're at the store with some extra cash).
What do you all think? Previous posts I have used mostly products that are good, but mainly "professional" or "botique." I'd still post about those, but I'm with you guys: if I can buy a product locally, I'm much happier.
Once I get my digital camera I can make reviews with pictures and tips. Mine was stolen

a week or so and I'll have a new one.
What do you think? Worth it, not enough interest? Let me know so I can ask Sir Daniel.
