uuuuhhh... i screwed something up again.
so today i replaced my thermostat. everything went according to plan. when i drained the coolant, it made a bigger mess than i had anticipated, but i wasn't alarmed. having drained the old coolant, and replaced the thermostat, i filled the radiator with water, as i heard this flushes the system. i get into the car to start it, planning to run it for 10-15 minutes, cause that is what i hear you do. everything seems fine, i turn the the, the radio comes on, turn it to ignition, and nothing happens. it was like my foot wasn't on the clutch. everything else works fine. radio, lights, alarm and heater, but i get no ignition. as i said, the coolant got places when i drained it, so i am thinking maybe something got wet that isn't supposed to get wet. also, i disconnected the intake tubey thing to get the thermostat housing off, could i have dicked something up there? i am hella pissed at myself now, and plan to hang up my tools and leave this crap to those more experienced. if anyone could help me get my car running again, that would be great.
