I'd have to agree with Rick.
The WRX is a economy car with a turbo engine. A damn good economy car, but by no means a truck. Want rigidity? Go to the girly Jeep Liberty, you'll be hard pressed to find a more solid vehicle under 30k.
Light offroad duty in a WRX, sure, have some fun, but don't complain when you're clutch packs are fried and you find out your AWD system is binding up.
