OMG.....so many options!
I have a guy asking to swap my chipped p28 for his stock p30, but now it seems like it might not be such a good idea....if I am not wired for the knock sensor?

So it's as easy as replacing the chip myself...seems way to simple....but maybe I'll try it before ditching my p28.

Relic1....thanks for all that info....I have only had the car for 2 weeks (I haven't licenced it yet as it has to pass a few inspections here in Canada & I am waiting for the SRS system to be re-installed) but yes it has ran rich since I started it for the first time....the previous owner says it has always done that since the B16A was put in (and I am assuming the ecu at the same time)....and it never backfired before the B16A either.....so u figure the ecu chip is the prob, rather than the exhaust (cat converter)

Thanks again for the info.....I have a bit of time to decide what I am going to do.....about 2-3 weeks before it's on the road =(
