to amps in the trunk?

I'm trying to get through the firewall and seem to have found a hole that's not in use. I pulled the plug from the hole and can't seem to find where the hole comes out on the interior side.

I'm trying to remove the glove compartment to see if it will help me find the hole on the interior side, but removing the 4 obvious screws doesn't seem to be enough to remove the glove compartment. Can anyone tell me what else needs to be done to remove the glove compartment?
