well, it totally depends on the context of second-hand smoke....

I'm well aware if as a parent, you smoke around children, its not good for you. I personally was effected by that, as my father smoked up until a few years ago. As a kid, I had 'smokers lung' and didn't really enjoy running all too much. However, I've always and will always say that once I have a baby on the way, I will damn sure stop smoking.

however, my gripe deals more with public secondhand smoke, and especially with outdoor regulations. I think if you're a non-smoking family, and you sit in a resturant with a smoking section, it won't be the end of the world. That's my complaint, anyways.

as for colleges banning smoking outside, thats a load of shit.

I totally agree that cigarettes should be banned and weed legalized. Its ludicrous....
