Yeah, a lot of lag. I know a lot of people (assuming that they stick with the Garrett line) will use a GT25R, because of its lower boost threshold. I'm attracted to the GT3071R for a number of reasons, but I'm a lot more interested in my original question, which was about essentially reversing the cam profiles in my H22a.
I assume, as I stated already, that having aggressive profiles up to 4,000rpm, then spooling up the turbo, while shortly thereafter switching to a low-overlap profile would be quite benificial. Moreso than just "removing" VTEC entirely, as some people have suggested.
I'm just trying to see if anyone has done this, and if not, what they think about it.
