its very simple... you'll need short pieces of wire (same gauge as power and ground for the amp) and some connectors. Pop out the power fuse at the battery. Mount the cap as close to the amp as possible to make the cable runs as short as possible. The power lead from the battery will go to the positive of the cap (instead of the amp). Then run a cable, as short as possible, from the same positive terminal to the positive connection on the amp. Then just a short ground wire (again, same gauge as the amp uses) and ground it to the same point on the car your amp is grounded to, NOT to the terminal on the amp.
BEFORE installing the fuse at the battery..... use a small test light or some other small light, connect each wire of the light to each one of the terminals of the fuse holder... the light will light up and gradually dim to nothing. Wait till the light goes out and then install the fuse. This "charges" the cap, if you dont do this you'll get a big spark when you install the fuse.
