Default Changing Transmission Fluid on 97 Integra GS

I already drained the manual tranny fluid on my 97 Integra GS. To my surprise, refilling wasn't as straightforward as with my Honda Accord. My Chilton's repair manual didn't really give a detailed (with pictures) instructions. Anyway, what I thought was the filler hole does not really have a hole big enough for a funnel/hose setup to work. It only had a slit of opening so the fluid just keeps bouncing out. I attached a sketch photo of my tranny housing. I drained it from the part labeled #12 (3/8" ratchet hole), and the filler hole, i believe, is labeled #13 (1/2" ratchet hole). I also noticed the part labeled #14, which has a hex-shaped ratchet hole, but i don't know what this is for. Please advice!
