the best method i've used is a hairdryer to heat it til it's pretty warm to the touch....then use your fingernail to peel, go slow, constantly heating the area you will go to next....i would advise against it, but if u do use a razorblade...be very very careful...it's incredibly easy to scratch your paint....my fingernail did a good enough job....just go slow...when the vinyl is off...use some bug&tar remover...i didn't use alchohol or googone...cause i tent to think it's too harsh for the paint...it takes a little longer with B&T remover, but just use some patience and it'll work nicely...lastly...when your done getting ALL of the residue off...it'd be a good idea to use some nufinish or meguiar's polish and then wax...
this is what i did for my civic cx badge and the dealership logo...came out pretty nice....i did start using a razorblade, but i found out the hard way that it's really easy to scratch your paint....i didn't do it bad, but once is enough....so i would say no razorblade..
