dont use alcohol.. dman ppl that shit is horrible for your paint. use goo gone. just let it soak in a little bit, then it litterally wipes right away. i've used it many times in the past. it recommened washing the area with car wash soap after... i've never had bad effects either way, weather you wash it or not.. but just as a save measure, atleast wipe the area down with a clean wet cloth
