In the instructions it says to connect a filter to every phone jack, and only the modem should be plugged into the DSL port. All phones obviously go into the phone port.
its only like that so you dont lose a jack because of the filter and so that you can move your dsl modem.
you could plug the dsl straight into the wall and the filters everywhere else and it would work
