i have no problem with civics as cars. of course i despise ricers...but regardless of why honda put smaller engines in them (civics weigh ALOT less than ludes) the fact remains that i can still get excellent gas mileage on my h22a1 so long as i dont hit VTEC too much. its only an efficiency thing with D series, which btw have MUCH worse efficiency than a b16...speaking purely on the definition of efficiency (head design, etc...) of course. the b16 is a VERY well designed motor, but as far as fuel economy goes...the D series is a grocery getter IMO.
to the critics: yes any motor even a D series can be made fast with enough money and boost.
squee- any MILS? Soot on bumper? Change the O2 sensor?
im having a problem right now with my h22a1, its running rich like a pig, im working on it but it is a PITA to diagnose with no MILS...i can still take a 2001 Accord V6 though

(as of yesterday at least).
