although i do understand adrenaline can get going and make you not think..
police officers should be the exception. they are trained to deal with high stress moments like this. never are they trained to repeatedly beat someone who is not resisting arrest (or even if he was resisting, you don't bash him with a flashlight). it was excessive force, and i think they should be rightfully punished, just as you or i would have been. too many cops think that because they have a badge, that they are somehow above the law. i know there are alot of good cops out there that do amazing things, and it's sad that we don't see them on the news.
