I always put the jacks under the jack points, and then put the stands under the joint where the lower control arm mounts to the frame. If you do it right, the jack stands kind of 'cup' around the roundish joint. Just gotta make sure its sitting right.
Hey thanks for the reply, I just came back from jacking the car, i did it the other way around, it worked nicely.
