It may seem like the brakes are more powerful if the ratio of petal force to vehicle deceleration is reduced, but it's the max deceleration that you are really concerned with. Max deceleration is all tire in these cars given the quality of the stock brakes. If you want better brakes for the street, then get better tires. The only thing larger rotors will do is provide a larger heat sink and improve heat dissipation which is only a real concern when racing. Read the magazine articles on the integras. They did repeated panic stops from high speed with no sign of brake fade with the stock brakes.

well, most of us are talking about OEM size rotors, just pads and fluid upgrades. And I know from experience that even with quality aftermarket pads and steel lines, you can still fade the bujeezus out of your brakes with OEM DOT3 fluid (this in a civic VX w/ f/r integra brakes), not to mention stock braking components.
