radio & dash illumination colors
Just something I was wondering about. The CD player that was installed in my rex was installed so poorly that it shook my faith in mankind. I usually listen to tapes in the car and I scored a factory Honda 1000 tape deck (and factory harness) at the boneyard the other day for $20. After cleaning out the rat's nest of butchered wiring, I re-spliced in the harness pigtail from the donor car, a '91 CRX DX, and hooked everything up properly.
Now, my question. When I turn on the headlights the dash and radio light up, but while the dash glows kinda orange, the radio lights up in this cool blue. What's up with this? I wish my whole dash lit up blue like that. What is the deal here. Both cars are 91s but mine was made 8/90 and I think the donor car was made 6/91 or even possibly later.
