American Honda Motor Company Inc. has signed on for two more years as sponsor of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the Mid-Ohio School in Lexington.

The deal extends the sponsorship agreement through the 2006 racing season, extending 10 years of partnership. The Mid-Ohio School, a driving school operated by Dublin's TrueSports Inc., agrees to use the Acura RSX and Honda Civic EX in eight different driving classes. The course also prominently displays Honda signs and Honda maintains naming rights on some classes.

The Tokyo-based automaker is the largest private employer in Central Ohio, with 13,000 workers at plants in Marysville, East Liberty and Anna.
