Christ, let's pretend this hasn't been gone over eleventy billion times.
Handmade, aluminum body, exquisite interior with hand stitched leather all around, bulletproof reliability, exclusivity factor, unbelievable balance.
R&T did a comparison last year with a 911 Carrera, NSX and Z06. They had a normal guy, an editor and a pro drive all 3. The normal guy thought the NSX was the best in touring, racetrack and overall. Editor said it was the best touring. All 3 guys had the NSX's laptimes VERY close to the Porsche and Z06.
The point? Spec sheets don't tell you the whole story. The 911 and NSX are very similiar in price. You're telling my 30 more horsepower makes the 911 so much better than the NSX? Or that the 115 in the Z06 puts it in another league? Please. For most people, the driving experience is about a lot more than how fast it goes in a straight line, how hard it pushes you back in your seat or what the magazine says for 0-60.
