94UhkordGuy, I'm sorry you feel that way. I guess bad memories will last much longer than good ones. My experiences w/ Nissan has been nothing but perfect. My dad bought a Nissan/Datsun B210 for $600 and it last him years w/out any problem. My 200SX is also a ran w/out a hitch.
fastball, I understand your argument about the Altima interior but you also gotta know that Nissan just came out of a near bankruptcy so they can only do so much. The Altima is the first new car since they got back on their feet and w/out the major cost cutting of the interior, Nissan might not be around. My 95 200sx has interior that I think is just as good as any civic out their and for the price, it's much more equiped. Give Nissan some time to work out all the kinks and when they have enough $$ again, the quality will also go up. Look at the Maxima interior? It was designed before all the cost cutting, that's why it's much better. And remember, the Maxima is still competing w/ the V6 Accord as of right now. If you want to compare right now, compare it to the Maxima, because the Altima still has some way to go before it get to the interior quality of the Maxima, Accord, or Camry.
