The V6 tranny is very good, I've had way more issues with my 00 stick then my sister's 02-V6.

My sister has 80k+ on her 2002 V6-EX and it runs like brand new, it did require an EGR -TSB repair at 60k, Honda paid for that, even out of warranty.

I had 2-3 new throw out bearings placed in my clutch under warranty when my car was under 26k mi.

If you find an Auto V6 and it has over 85k mi on it and it runs like new, I'd consider it a fine car. Check the warranty at Honda to see if the car had any repairs and that should be ok.

What ever you buy it's going to be a Honda and it should be fine.
